Wow!!
What a whirlwind of events that have occurred in my life the past few weeks. Come to find out that my car was totaled after my run-in with the local wildlife. I had a rough stretch of goings at work, had a good christmas, but then ended up in the hospital the day after xmas!? Somehow I came down with an odd case of food poisoning or a bout of the flu... Who knows, I just know that I was up in Watertown, couldn't even drive the work truck and had to call an ambulance as I was getting sick every 2 minutes or so. What a trip that was at the hospital, tried to get a bed as all I wanted to do was lay down. Well, the hospital had no beds or gurney's so I was stuck laying on a tile floor with a thin blanket. Not the most comforting position when you are in such an exposed state.
Well, after that was all over, come to find out I have resigned from the family business and taken a new job working for the

. Very exciting news!! I will be mostly a Field Engineer/Quality Analyst. Doing work on software applications for handheld computers (for vending companies). Its a huge step up in work and a nice boost in the ol wallet so I'll take it. Oh yeah, I get to work from home too!!
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be picking up my new car! 2006 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport...(thats a mouthful) I was going to get a used one with some low mileage, but with the change in jobs, I opted for the new ride.
Man, with all the business going on I have had pretty much zero time to train. Pretty much gotta kick start the bus back up again tomorrow, hopefully I haven't lost that much fitness!
